The Best Braider Award recognises a stylist who has mastered the art of braiding, showcasing exceptional skill, creativity, and dedication to preserving and innovating this traditional technique.

This award celebrates a braider who has made a significant impact in the community through their artistry, from intricate protective styles to bold, creative braids.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Best Braider Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a practising professional specialising in braiding.
• Must have at least two years of experience in braiding.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to promoting hair health while showcasing innovation in braiding styles.

Review and Selection Process

Initial Review:

A panel of esteemed hairstylists will review all applications based on creativity, skills, and dedication to hair health through braiding.

Winner:

The winner of The Best Braider Award will be announced at the Gala. Nominees will receive discounted tickets for Tress Gala, where the winner will receive a trophy and be featured across Tressly platforms and media outlets.
